Dr Aris conducted an experiment to investigate whether blue-light filtering glasses affected performance on a visual search task. He compared a group of participants who wore blue-light filtering glasses (Group A) with a group of participants who wore standard clear-lens glasses (Group B).

Dr Aris measured performance by counting the number of targets successfully identified in a 30-second computerised trial. The higher the score, the better the participant's visual search performance.

The results are shown in Table 3.
