Question 6

A school has a lunchtime study room beside the library. It is open from Monday to Thursday and has 24 seats. Students may use it for quiet reading or homework. A member of staff is available in the room. Students sign in at the door, keep their voices low and do not bring food or drink. Books may be borrowed from the library desk.

Write the text for a welcome leaflet for students who are new to the school, introducing the lunchtime study room and explaining what they can do there and how to use it. You may organise your leaflet under the headings “A quiet place”, “What you can do” and “Using the room”.
