Dr. Vance gathered quantitative data by recording whether commuters on a city path used a Bicycle or an Electric Scooter during different times of the day. Dr. Vance collected observations during a Morning Peak period and a Midday Off-Peak period. In total, 20 commuter choices were sampled during each period, resulting in a total of 40 observed journeys. The data is displayed in Table 1.
