An experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of schema expectancy on object recall in a cognitive psychology study. Four participants were placed in a room and later asked to recall the objects they observed. The recall of schema-inconsistent objects was measured under two conditions: with schema-priming and without schema-priming. The raw data is presented in the table below.
| Participant | Number of objects recalled with schema-priming | Number of objects recalled without schema-priming |
|---|---|---|
| W | 12 | 3 |
| X | 14 | 9 |
| Y | 15 | 11 |
| Z | 17 | 12 |
