A psychologist investigating parasocial relationships devised a self-report Parasocial Interaction (PSI) Scale for use with a group of 120 participants. The scale gave a PSI score for each participant on a scale of 0–60, with 0 representing no parasocial involvement and 60 representing extreme parasocial involvement.
The psychologist calculated measures of central tendency for the PSI scores. She found that the mean score was 36.5, the median score was 28.0, and the mode score was 19.5.
Sketch a graph to show the most likely distribution curve for the PSI scores in this study. Label the axes of your graph and mark on it the positions of the mean, median and mode.
