Use a simple cycle:
- diagnose a weakness with a mini test or paper section;
- revisit the relevant method;
- answer questions without notes;
- mark the work carefully;
- record why each mark was lost;
- return to the same skill after a gap.

- exam proximity;
- likely marks available;

- whether the subject already receives substantial lesson time.
