Question 20

Write a program using either pseudocode or a high-level programming language of your choice that calculates the irrigation water volume (in mL) for a crop plant based on its height (in cm) and the daily average sunlight hours it receives.

The program should:

  • Prompt the user to input the plant height.
  • Prompt the user to input the daily average sunlight hours.
  • Calculate and output the irrigation water volume based on the following rules:
    • If the daily average sunlight hours is less than or equal to 6 and the plant height is greater than 50 cm, the water volume is the plant height multiplied by 1.8.
    • If the daily average sunlight hours is greater than 6, the water volume is the plant height multiplied by 3.5.
    • Otherwise, the water volume is 0.

You should use meaningful variable names and correct programming syntax in your answer.
