The program below is designed to display a sequence of even integers up to (but not including) a user-specified even integer.
even = 0
number = int(input("Enter an even integer: "))
while even != number:
print(even)
even = even + 2
print("Finished!")
The program works correctly if the integer entered by the user is a positive even integer. For example, if 6 is entered, the program correctly displays the values 0, 2, and 4.
However, the program does not work correctly if an even integer less than 0 is entered. For example, when -6 is entered, the program should display 0, -2, and -4, but it enters an infinite loop.
Using Python only, change the program code inside the while loop so that it will work correctly for any even integer entered by the user.
