Write a Python program that inputs a single character and checks to see if it is a numeric digit or not.

Your program should work as follows:

• gets the user to enter a character and stores it in a suitably named variable
• determines if the entered character is a numeric digit (between '0' and '9' inclusive)
• outputs DIGIT if the user has entered a numeric digit
• outputs NOT A DIGIT if the user has entered any other character.

You should use meaningful variable name(s), correct Python syntax and proper indentation in your answer.
