Question 16

Write a Python program that calculates the green energy credits awarded to a commercial solar panel installation based on the total megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity generated and the number of maintenance checks performed in a year.

The program should:

  • Prompt the user to input the total MWh generated (as a whole number).
  • Prompt the user to input the number of maintenance checks performed (as a whole number).
  • Calculate and output the green credits awarded based on the following criteria:
    • If the number of maintenance checks is less than or equal to 3 and the total MWh generated is greater than 150, the credits awarded will be the total MWh generated multiplied by 8.
    • If the number of maintenance checks is greater than 3, the credits awarded will be the total MWh generated multiplied by 15.
    • In all other cases, the credits awarded will be 0.

You should use syntax correct for Python, proper indentation, and meaningful variable names.
