The program below is designed to display a sequence of multiples of 5 up to (but not including) a user-specified multiple of 5.
multiple = 0
target = int(input("Enter a multiple of 5: "))
while multiple != target:
print(multiple)
multiple = multiple + 5
print("Finished!")
The program works correctly if the integer entered by the user is a positive multiple of 5. For example, if 15 is entered, the program correctly displays the values 0, 5, and 10.
However, the program does not work correctly if a multiple of 5 less than 0 is entered. For example, when -15 is entered, the program should display 0, -5, and -10, but it enters an infinite loop.
Using Python only, change the program code inside the while loop so that it will work correctly for any multiple of 5 entered by the user.
