An engineer uses a laser alignment system to steer a beam around a protective barrier. The system contains two flat parallel mirrors, as shown in the diagram.

a.

Complete the ray diagram to show how the laser beam passes through the alignment system from the incoming path to the laser sensor target.

You must:

  1. Draw the path of the laser beam after reflecting from Mirror 1 to Mirror 2, and then to the laser sensor target.
  2. Draw the normal line at the point of incidence on Mirror 2.
