Students investigated the insulation properties of different materials wrapped around boiling tubes.
They set up two boiling tubes: one wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap, and the other wrapped in a single layer of cotton wool. Each boiling tube was filled with heated water, and the temperature drop over 15 minutes was recorded.
