Aanya carried out an investigation to see if cultural background had an influence on the type of psychological treatment and support people accessed for depressive symptoms. She studied individuals diagnosed with depression in Canada and individuals diagnosed with depression in India. She aimed to see if people from Canada were more likely to choose individual cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) compared to people from India.
