An investigation was conducted to compare the reactivity of four metals: W, X, Y, and Z.
Equal-sized pieces of each metal were added to excess dilute hydrochloric acid at room temperature and observed for three minutes.
Table 1 shows the observations noted during the reactions for metals W, Y, and Z.
