Dr. Harrison is a biopsychologist investigating whether the duration of sleep deprivation is linked to performance on a cognitive attention task.
Dr. Harrison selected six participants from a sleep research unit. She recorded the number of hours each participant was kept awake (up to 30 hours) and then counted the number of attention errors they made during a 10-minute standardized computer task.
Dr. Harrison's results are shown in Table 1.
