Amara conducted a laboratory experiment to investigate context-dependent memory. She used a repeated measures design where 12 undergraduate psychology students from her own department learned a list of 20 words in a quiet classroom and were tested in the same classroom. The next day, the same participants learned a different list of 20 words of similar difficulty in a noisy cafeteria and were tested back in the quiet classroom. The matched context condition was always completed on Day 1, and the mismatched context condition on Day 2.
Explain one improvement that could be made to Amara's experiment.
