where:

  • Q Q\,Q is the heat energy released in J\text{J}J
  • m m\,m is the mass of the mixture in g\text{g}g
  • ΔT \Delta T\,ΔT is the change in temperature in ∘C^\circ\text{C}∘C

Assume that the mass of 1.00 cm3 of the mixture is 1.00 g.
