Question 1

Conversation

Samuel was talking to Maya about how difficult his week has been. Samuel said that he had mislaid his gym pass, had to stand in the pouring rain waiting for a delayed tram, and missed his favorite weekly yoga class because of it. On top of that, the office coffee machine was broken all week. Maya replied that her week had also been stressful, but for different reasons: she is currently organizing her upcoming wedding alongside finalizing contracts to emigrate to Canada next month.

Decide who you think is more likely to suffer the negative effects of stress, Samuel or Maya. Use psychological research to justify your decision.
