In this question use g=9.8g = 9.8g=9.8 m s−2^{-2}−2
A stone is released from rest at a point P P\,P and falls freely under gravity.
Directly below P P\,P there is a window. The window is 1.5 metres tall.
The stone takes 0.1 seconds to pass the window, from the top of the window to the bottom of the window.
Show that the speed of the stone as it reaches the top of the window is 14.51 m s−1^{-1}−1.
Hence find the distance of P P\,P above the top of the window.
