What if I miss my university offer?

Check UCAS Hub first. Universities sometimes confirm applicants who have narrowly missed an offer, so a lower grade does not automatically mean rejection.

If no decision appears, contact the university calmly and ask whether it needs further information. If your firm choice does not accept you, your insurance choice may do so. If neither place is confirmed, Clearing allows eligible applicants to search for courses with vacancies.

Prepare before calling a university. Have your grades, UCAS Personal ID, course details and questions in front of you. Do not add a Clearing choice until the university has indicated that it will consider or accept you and you understand what the course offers.

Can I ask for my Business paper to be checked?

Yes, but begin by speaking to your teacher and exams officer. Your centre may be able to request access to your marked script so that an experienced teacher can look for a plausible marking issue.
