Elena was investigating how reconstructive memory and schema theory affect recall in a specific environment. She set up a mock mechanic's workshop and placed several workshop-related items (such as a torque wrench and an oil filter) and several non-workshop-related items (such as a rolling pin and a hair straightener) inside it. Participants spent 90 seconds in the workshop and were later asked to write down as many of the items as they could recall.
The findings from Elena's study are presented in Table 1.
| Workshop-related items (schema-consistent) | Non-workshop-related items (schema-incongruent) | |
|---|---|---|
| Mean number of items recalled | 15 | 6 |
Draw an appropriate graph to represent Elena's results.
