Poly(tetrafluoroethene) (PTFE) is a polymer made from tetrafluoroethene.

Figure 1 shows a molecule of tetrafluoroethene.

Figure 1: Displays a structural formula of a tetrafluoroethene molecule. It features a central carbon-to-carbon double bond, written as C=C. Each of the two carbon atoms is also single-bonded to two fluorine atoms (F), resulting in four C-F single bonds stretching outwards.

On Figure 1, draw a circle around the functional group that allows this molecule to undergo addition polymerisation.
