Marine biologists are monitoring the population of green sea turtles in a protected coral reef lagoon.

In the first phase of the study, they capture a sample of 120 turtles, implant harmless Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) tags, and release them back into the lagoon.

Two weeks later, allowing the tagged turtles to mix thoroughly with the population, they capture a second sample of 110 turtles and find that 15 of them have PIT tags.

Estimate the total population of green sea turtles in this lagoon.
