Question 14

In humans, the MN blood group system is controlled by a single gene with two codominant alleles, LM L^M\,LM and LNL^NLN. Individuals with genotype LMLM L^M L^M\,LMLM have blood group M, those with genotype LNLN L^N L^N\,LNLN have blood group N, and heterozygotes with genotype LMLN L^M L^N\,LMLN have blood group MN.

Explain the expected phenotypic and genotypic outcomes if two individuals with blood group MN have offspring.

You should complete a Punnett square genetic diagram as part of your answer.
