Red-green color blindness is a recessive sex-linked genetic disorder. This condition affects a person's ability to distinguish between red and green hues.

Figure 1 shows the inheritance of red-green color blindness in a family. Person 3 is heterozygous (a carrier) for red-green color blindness and has normal vision.
