Question 27

Use g=9.8g = 9.8g=9.8 m s−2^{-2}−2.

A particle P P\,P of mass 10 kg is held in equilibrium by two light inextensible strings, A A\,A and BBB, attached to two fixed points.

String A A\,A makes an angle of 50° 50°\,50° with the horizontal and string B B\,B makes an angle of 35° 35°\,35° with the horizontal, on the opposite side of the vertical through PPP, as shown in the diagram.
