Question 264

Painting a piece of pottery

Your school art department recently ran a beginner’s pottery-painting workshop, and you took part.

Write a review of the workshop for the school website, helping other pupils decide whether it would suit them. You may invent the details of the experience.

To help you plan, you could write about:

  • how pupils could choose a design and get started
  • what materials and help were available
  • whether there was enough time to finish
  • how the finished pieces would be collected after firing.

You may also use your own ideas. Make sure that your review gives a clear overall judgement supported by details.

Your response will be assessed for communication and organisation, and for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation. The total includes 16 marks for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation.
