Your community is considering a project to record the town’s everyday history.

Write the text of a speech for a community meeting persuading residents to contribute memories or materials to the project. You may invent details about the town.

You could include:

  • why ordinary experiences might be worth recording
  • what people could contribute
  • how the project could be welcoming and respectful.

You may also use your own ideas.
