The audio clip is exactly one second long and is sampled at a rate of 8Hz.

The digital representation has a bit depth of 4 and is stored in two's complement.

Draw a graph on the grid below to represent the sampled digital sound wave.

You must include:

  • descriptive labels for both the x and y axes
  • appropriate numerical values for both axes
  • each digital sample plotted clearly as an 'X'
  • the individual sample points joined up with straight lines to show the wave shape
