Two possible equations for this reaction are

B Cu+2AgNO3→2Ag+Cu(NO3)2\text{Cu} + 2\text{AgNO}_3 \rightarrow 2\text{Ag} + \text{Cu}(\text{NO}_3)_2Cu+2AgNO3​→2Ag+Cu(NO3​)2​

It was found that 6.35 g of copper powder reacted with excess silver nitrate solution to produce 21.60 g of silver.
