Tungsten can be extracted from tungsten oxide, WO3\text{WO}_3WO3, by reaction with hydrogen.
120 tonnes of tungsten oxide was heated with hydrogen. The tungsten formed in the reaction was separated and purified. The mass of tungsten was then determined.
The results are shown in Table 1.
