Context

The Human Resources department at a creative media agency wanted to investigate staff satisfaction regarding a newly introduced flexible hybrid-working policy. They commissioned a researcher to conduct a pilot study focused on the junior design team.

The researcher focused on the employees' attitudes towards workload management, work-life balance, and collaboration software. They designed an anonymous questionnaire which was completed online by all junior designers during an administrative hour.

After analysis of the responses to the questionnaire, the researcher interviewed a sample of employees who had completed the questionnaire.

Explain why it might be useful to interview employees as well as analysing the questionnaire responses.
