A clinical psychology research group at a university wanted to investigate the relationship between sleep hygiene and clinical anxiety levels among undergraduate medical students during their final rotation exams.

To gather preliminary data, the research group distributed an online diary log to a cohort of students. Following this, the lead researcher planned to obtain deeper, more qualitative insights into the students' personal coping mechanisms and unique stressors.

The researcher decided to conduct unstructured interviews with a select sample of these medical students.

Explain one advantage of using an unstructured interview rather than a structured interview in this study.
