Observation Study Context

An occupational psychologist conducted an overt observation study to investigate collaborative problem-solving among warehouse employees. For five days, the frequency of collaborative behaviours among the employees was recorded during their shifts. The employees then attended a brief seminar highlighting the safety and productivity benefits of team collaboration. For the subsequent five days, the collaborative behaviours of the same employees were observed again.

Briefly discuss one way in which a covert observation of the warehouse employees might be more beneficial than the overt observation used in this study.
