  • Shaft B has a cross-sectional area of 6.0 m2 and is filled with brine of density 1200 kg m-3 to a depth of 10 m.

Compare the hydrostatic pressure exerted by the liquid at the base of Shaft A with that at the base of Shaft B. Show your working clearly.
