Question 194

An empty shop in your town is being converted into a free community room. Local residents, students and community groups have suggested many different uses, but only one activity can take place at a time.

You have been invited to speak at a public consultation about the room.

Write the speech you would give to persuade the meeting to support your views on which uses should be given priority and how competing requests should be decided.

Your work will be assessed on communication and adaptation to audience and purpose (27 marks), and organisation and technical accuracy (18 marks).
