Question 154

Your school website is publishing reviews of support available to students. You have attended a new after-school homework club.

The editor wants readers to decide whether attending the club would suit them. Write a review for the website. It should evaluate how useful the club is, explain the differences between a session there and doing homework independently at home, and reach a clear recommendation.

You may create any details you need.

To help you plan, you could consider:

  • the welcome, setting and support
  • one aspect that worked well and one that could be improved
  • which students would benefit from the club
  • whether you would recommend it.

Your work will be assessed on communication and adaptation to audience and purpose (27 marks), and organisation and technical accuracy (18 marks).
