The visitor's route
The new signs were conspicuous, with lettering that stood out from the wall. They were consistent: the same destination had the same name at every junction. We tested the route by following it without asking anyone for help. At one turn, a trolley concealed the arrow. The sign itself was well designed, but its position made it temporarily useless. I noted the obstruction rather than giving the whole route a simple pass or fail.
From the passage, select two words or phrases that describe the visual clarity and naming system of the new signs.
