The lettering on the wall
The community mural had been designed on a flat sheet of paper. On the wall, a drainpipe ran through the middle of the longest word. Several bricks projected beyond their neighbours, preventing the stencil from lying flat. The pavement sloped, so the bottom edge looked crooked even when measured from one point. Passing pedestrians needed space beside us, and we had to move the equipment whenever a wheelchair approached. A strip of old paint came away during preparation, exposing a damp patch that would not take the new coat evenly.
Describe the difficulties of transferring the mural design to the wall. You may support your points with brief quotations.
