Question 113

After the classroom leak

When I unlocked the classroom on Monday, a damp patch had spread across the ceiling above the reading corner. One tile sagged lower than the others, and drops had gathered in the bucket beneath it. From the doorway, the room had appeared unchanged, but the damage was clear once the lights were switched on.

From the passage, select one word or phrase that shows that the ceiling had been damaged.
