The rehearsal upstairs
When water began dripping through the hall ceiling, our school orchestra rehearsal was moved to a classroom on the first floor. The lift was not working, so the cellists had to carry their large instruments up the stairs. In the classroom, desks fixed to the floor left only narrow gaps for the musicians. The conductor's music stand was still inside the locked hall, and nobody present had a key. The site manager then told us that everyone had to leave the building at five o'clock, giving us only half an hour to rehearse.
Describe four difficulties the orchestra encountered after its rehearsal was moved. You may support your points with brief quotations.
