CIE IGCSE Business (0450) is a Level 1/Level 2 qualification regulated by Ofqual, taken by students aged 14–16. It covers business activity, enterprise and ownership, people in business and human resources, marketing, business operations and production, finance and accounts, and external influences on business, with a strong focus on with a strong focus on applying business concepts to real-world contexts and using both qualitative and quantitative data to build arguments and justify decisions. The course is a single-tier qualification graded A*–G, typically 130 guided learning hours, with first assessment in 2020.
