AEvery adult is asked, "During the previous four weeks, how many times did you use the local leisure centre?" No additional questions are asked. All 12 adults gave a number and each interview took an average of 4 minutes. However, three adults asked whether a visit only to the centre's cafe should be counted.
BEach adult is asked, "Tell me about your visits to the local leisure centre", followed by questions based on their answer. All 12 adults described reasons for visiting, but only seven stated their total number of visits. Each interview took an average of 16 minutes.

Using the pilot findings, explain which approach the researcher should use and one change that should be made before the full study.
