OCR Twenty First Century GCSE Physics (J259) is a Level 2 qualification regulated by Ofqual, taken by students aged 14–16. It covers energy, electricity, particle model of matter, atomic structure, forces, waves, and magnetism and electromagnetism, with a strong focus on applying knowledge to unfamiliar contexts and interpreting experimental data. The course is available at Foundation tier (grades 1–5) and Higher tier (grades 4–9), with first assessment in 2018.

OCR Twenty First Century GCSE Physics builds the skills examiners reward. By the end of the course you should be able to:
