Some policymakers suggest that a coastal region should attempt to meet the majority of its electrical power demand using wind energy.

Fig. 1.1 shows the total electrical power generated by wind turbines across this region on a cold, calm winter day.

Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of trying to meet the majority of the region's electrical demand using wind energy.
