A student is investigating the refraction of light as it passes from air into a rectangular perspex block, as shown in the diagram.

A rectangular perspex block is placed on a sheet of white paper. A narrow ray of light from a ray box is directed at the side of the block. The incident ray enters the block, bends, and travels through the block as a refracted ray before exiting. A normal line is indicated at the point of entry.

Describe how the student should measure the angle of refraction.
