Questions worth answering

Pupils at your school are sometimes uncertain about the reasons for changes to school routines and facilities.

Write a letter to your headteacher proposing a termly forum at which senior staff answer questions submitted by pupils.

You could include:

  • what pupils find confusing at present and how a forum could help
  • the way questions might be gathered, chosen and answered
  • what could go wrong, and why the idea is still worth trying.

You may also use your own ideas.

Your response will be assessed for communication and organisation, and for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation. The total includes 16 marks for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation.
