The seed delivery
Text: an original contemporary report-style practice extract.
The gardening club postponed planting its communal beds because the seed delivery contained the wrong varieties. Members could still work on their own plots. The supplier agreed to send replacements, and the club stored the unopened packets in the office for collection. Rain had softened the soil, but was not the reason for the delay. The organiser asked members to label the prepared rows with the intended crops so that planting could begin promptly when the correct packets arrived.
From the extract, identify one reason planting in the communal beds was postponed.
