Your school photography club is planning a day trip. Some pupils who are new to photography are unsure whether they would fit in.

A trip for first-time photographers

Write a letter to the teacher leading the photography club, persuading them to make the trip welcoming to beginners and encourage them to take part. You may invent details.

You could include:

  • why a pupil with little photography experience might hesitate
  • ways the teacher could help beginners feel included during the trip
  • how welcoming new pupils could benefit the club.
